Activities
Chalet 1864 offers a selection of activities for all tastes, indoors or outdoors, and accessible to all. You’ll quickly be blown away by the wild beauty of the mountains and their biodiversity.
This unique experience at the heart of the spectacular slopes of the Aravis mountains and the wonderful, natural world of the Alps is your opportunity to explore some new areas, disconnect from the world and make some unforgettable memories.
If you like, we would be delighted to design a tailor-made programme for you to explore the department of Haute-Savoie (canyoning, guided hikes, cross-country cycle routes, river fishing etc.).
At the Chalet this summer

Lively flavours
As wellbeing starts with what you eat, we like to share with our guests our style of healthy, simple, natural dishes. On request, we can organise cooking workshops, gathering edible flowers from paths and visits to local farms for some delicious, unforgettable flavours.
A rural getaway
From the Chalet, with your guide, follow the paths towards the Buvette de Paccaly. Rich with bucolic charm at the foot of the Aravis mountain range, this chalet welcomes you for lunch, where you can enjoy its dishes delicately garnished with mountain flowers.

The call of the mountains
Whatever the season, there is nothing like a mountain environment for energising walks and connecting with the living world. Whatever you’re looking for or your level, our hiking guide will take you on a discovery of medicinal plants and local fauna (chamois goats, ibex and marmots). For a more contemplative experience, our forest bathing guide will accompany you during your forest walks for a real celebration of nature, silence and fulfilment.
Experience interior tranquillity
At the Chalet, and in individual sessions, our yoga teacher Virginie will take you through a musical voyage: a “sound bath”. This is a deep wellbeing experience where vibrations calm your mind, allowing stress and anxiety to melt away. Lulled by the sound waves, this unique treatment invites you to adopt a more philosophical approach to life.
